Dance for Festive Joy

Dance For FESTIVE Joy is free dance event is being organised to give local older adults an opportunity to dance. We provide an authentic disco experience with the intention of promoting health and wellbeing.  This is an opportunity for guests to dance to their favourite songs in a relaxed environment.  There will be no routines or choreography, just freestyle dancing and socialising.

We hope to provide an authentic disco experience with the intention of promoting health and wellbeing. The initiative takes inspiration from countries such as Japan and South Korea, whose populations continue to participate in dance and movement activities as they grow older, and this has proven beneficial for psychological and physical health.
