Current Teaching

Denisha has been an integral part of teaching at Middlesex University Mauritius, contributing to various programmes over the years. From 2015 to 2018, she was involved with the BA (Hons) Advertising, Public Relations and Media programme and taught media production modules. Since 2018, she has been teaching in the BA (Hons) Advertising, Public Relations and Branding programme for the module Campaign Planning, and from 2017, she has also contributed to the marketing modules of the BA (Hons) Business Management-Marketing programme.

During the academic year 2023/24, Denisha has delivered instruction in several key modules, including:

These modules reflect her wide-ranging expertise in the fields of advertising and marketing, showcasing her commitment to providing comprehensive and up-to-date education to her students.

Moreover, she supervised 30 final year undergraduate projects and 8 postgraduate dissertations.

 

Biography

Denisha has been a part of Middlesex University Mauritius since September 2015, where she began her journey as a Lecturer in Media Production. She contributes her expertise to the BA (Hons) Business Management-Marketing and BA (Hons) Advertising, Public Relations and Branding programmes. 

In addition to her teaching role, Denisha is pursuing PhD studies at Middlesex Business School, focusing on Social Advertising and Marketing. She has completed her MPhil transfer and is progressing with the thesis completion now.

Beyond her academic responsibilities, Denisha has embraced various leadership roles within the university. From 2016 to 2017, she served as the Academic Marketing Lead, a position that allowed her to liaise among the marketing department and academics across different subject areas. Between 2018 and 2019, she led as the Chair of Research Networks, fostering collaboration and research initiatives among the MDX community. In addition, from 2019 to 2022, Denisha took on the role of Campus Lead: Teaching and Learning, where she focused on enhancing the educational experience and teaching strategies. These positions have honed her leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, making her a versatile and dedicated member of the Middlesex University Mauritius community.
