Biography
Iam a queer feminist academic working on intersectionalities linked togendered-sexualities, crisis and disaster, particularly in relation to age and lifecourse. I am interested in everyday lives and experiences andexpanding the definition of what we mean by disaster.
Ihave worked and researched on gendered issues across the globe - Sri Lanka, NewOrleans, USA, the U.K. and 'International Development' more generally. This hasincluded collaborations with Oxfam, UNRISD and Plan International.
