Research activities

Dr Raheem is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Middlesex University. Her primary expertise is in the development of new technologies and networks for mobile and wireless systems. Her aim is to continue her research on improving the performance of vehicular environments and future networks.

Biography

Dr Rand Hussein Raheem received her Diploma in Electrical and Computer engineering from Dhofar University affiliated to the American University in Beirut, Sultanate of Oman in 2009 (First Class Honours). In 2010, she got her BSc in Computer Communication Engineering from Dhofar University (First Class Honours). In 2011, she got her MSc in Telecommunication Engineering from Middlesex University, London, United Kingdom (Merit degree), and then got her Ph.D. in "Interference Management and System Optimisation for Small Cells Technology in Future 4G/5G Networks” in 2016.
