Research activities
My main research interests deal with investigating the behavioural, attitudinal and implicit effects of having an illusion of body ownership over a virtual or robotic body that’s different from one’s own.
Current Teaching
My main teaching and research interests involve humanoid robots, Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR), embodiment and body-ownership illusions. I teach modules related to emerging technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and research methods across various undergraduate programmes in the department of computer engineering and informatics, as well as computer vision, mobile robotics, software engineering modules, in addition to coordinating the dissertation module for the postgraduate robotics programme.
