Biography
Aneta Polec is a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing who graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Adult Nursing from Middlesex University in 2010 and soon after was awarded Bachelor of Science in Contemporary Nursing from University of Hertfordshire. She has completed MSc in Advanced Professional Practice (Nursing Education) at Middlesex University in 2022. She also is a qualified English language teacher.
As a registered Adult nurse she worked in a range of hospital settings, including gynaecology and acute surgery, however she decided to specialise in Critical Care Nursing while working in an Adult Intensive Care Unit in one of London's hospitals. She later became a qualified stage 3 mentor and decided to pursue career as a Clinical Practice Educator, being responsible for the professional development of nursing staff on the unit, focusing primarily on newly appointed nurses with no prior ITU experience.
She has worked at Middlesex University since 2016, and is currently a Director of Programmes for Adult BSc Nursing.
