Biography

Dr Vassileva is a Visiting Research Fellow focusing on comparative private and public law, and EU law. She holds a PhD in Law from University College London (UK), a Master's degree in Global Business Law from the Sorbonne (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne), a Master's degree in Economic Law from the Institute of Political Studies in Paris (Sciences Po Paris), and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Tufts University (USA). 

Her research has been published in leading journals, such as the European Review of Private Law, the European Business Law Review, the Journal of Comparative Law, European Public Law, the Journal of International Economic Law, etc. She often writes for the media - her articles have been published in New Eastern Europe, Euronews, the EUobserver, etc. 

Her book Bulgarian Private Law at Crossroads (ISBN 9781839702051) was published by Intersentia in August 2022.
