Important information for international students

Undergraduate - Year 1

You must have completed either:

  • Community College Diploma (Intermediate Diploma/Associate Degree) after high school

Students from Jordan normally follow a four-year undergraduate course at Middlesex University, with the first year on the International Foundation Programme (IFP). Students who successfully complete the one-year International Foundation at Middlesex will automatically progress onto a Middlesex degree.

For entry onto our International Foundation Programme you will need to have graduated from high school (year 12) with good grades and have a minimum of IELTS of 5.5, or equivalent recognised English language test.

Undergraduate - Year 2 & 3

Successfully passed at least one year's higher studies in a relevant subject area. We require 60 ECTS for entry to year two, and 120 ECTS for entry to year three. Acceptance is based on a curriculum match between your prior study and the syllabus at Middlesex.

You will need to provide a letter of reference from an academic source and a personal statement.

Postgraduate

For most postgraduate courses, you must have completed a good Bachelor degree from a recognised university, equivalent to a British second class honours degree. Our MBA courses require at least two years of post-graduation work experience at management level, and in some cases a GMAT score of over 550 will also be required.

You must also meet our standard English Language Requirements. If you don't meet these, we offer a Pre-sessional English course.

We understand that knowing how you’ll fund your studies as an international student is something you’ll want to tick off your list as soon as possible. We’ve got plenty of support on budgeting to help you get the most out of your money and your university experience.
