Student Finance England
The UK Government is supporting Ukrainian students by offering full Student Finance funding (loans for fees and livings costs) to students from Ukraine who are studying eligible courses in England or Wales in 2022/23.

Eligibility
This support is available to those who are granted permission to stay in the UK under one of the three schemes for Ukrainians. This is for students who are already on a Higher Education course, and for students who will be new in 2022/23.
There are strict eligibility requirements: To have been granted permission to enter or remain in the UK under one of the three schemes for Ukrainians by 1 September 2022; and
To have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands since being granted that permission; and To be/have been ordinarily resident in the UK on the first day of the first academic year of the course (this means 1 September if you start a course in September, rather than the actual first day of the course).

On the first day of the academic year you are paying fees for, you must be a person with any one of these five types of leave:
- leave to remain granted under the immigration rules for the Ukraine Extension Scheme
- leave to enter or leave to remain granted under the immigration rules for the Ukraine Family Scheme
- leave to enter or leave to remain granted under the Ukraine Family Scheme, but outside the immigration rules. If you have this third type of leave, these two bullet points must also both be true: 1 you were residing in Ukraine immediately before 1 January 2022; and 2 you left Ukraine in connection with the Russian invasion
- leave to enter or leave to remain granted under the immigration rules for the Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme
- leave to enter or leave to remain granted under the Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme, but outside the immigration rules. If you have this fifth type of leave, these two bullet points must also both be true:
- 1 you were residing in Ukraine immediately before 1 January 2022; and
- 2 you left Ukraine in connection with the Russian invasion and
(b) you must have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands since you were granted such leave; and
(c) you must be ordinarily resident in the UK on the first day of the first academic year of the course.

Other scholarships
You can also apply for the British Government's Chevening Scholarships, and a variety of private agencies and charities for scholarships, bursaries and grants to study in the UK. For more information visit the British Council website or the UK Council for International Student Affairs website.
International Academic Awards
We offer a European Academic Award of £1000 - £7000 to individuals who have demonstrated academic excellence and ambition in their previous studies. The scholarship is available to excellent applicants from the EU/EEA3.
Applicants need to apply to Middlesex University first and receive a study offer to be eligible. This award is given as a discount towards tuition fees for the first year of study. Students finishing their first/second year with at least 2:2 will be considered for a continuation scholarship.
Who can apply:
- Citizen of the EU/EEA, Turkey, Morocco and the Balkan states
- Applicants need to hold a passport from the above countries and have been residents in those countries in the past 3 years
When to apply:
- First apply to study at Middlesex University and receive an offer for a Bachelor's or Master's programme
- When you have received an offer, you can apply for the scholarship
- A final decision on the scholarship will be made when you provide your final high school/previous study grades
- Applications for the scholarship are open until 15 December for the January start and 31 August for the September start
- Students need to pay 50% of the International tuition fees (full amount) in the first semester. The award will be deducted from the payment in the second semester
