I think passion is the first thing that every entrepreneur needs to have.

A dreamer, someone with passion and resilience.

You need to believe in yourself even if there are challenges, which there will always be.

Discipline, having the mindset to adapt to mistakes and moving on.

My business idea is a sustainable clothing brand which is a modest wear like the one I'm wearing right now. Seven pounds goes into charity from the sale of every product. The fabric is recycled. A unique concept that sells high quality Japanese tea and coffee roasting on site have a cultural venue where people that identify with the Japanese culture. Our goal is to help students bring their business ideas to life.

When we're building this app called  Collide, which provides a platform for student founders to share their concepts, validate their ideas, and connect with potential partners, mentors and investors.

The world needs entrepreneurs right now because entrepreneurs create social change. I think the job creation is never been more important than it is now and because entrepreneurs are small they can be flexible, they can look at new ways of process.

Best experience I've had is the people around me like Maria, Matthew, especially the business startup module leader, they've been  with me throughout this whole journey and I'm  really grateful for that. I still remember the first day when we all met, unfortunately, in the same table and we discussed about some ideas   and we came up with one particular idea.

That day to now, what we have grown - that's been an amazing experience.

Having made things with professionals, consultants, staff have pushed my idea further and just knowing that there's someone behind me, supporting me.

And increasingly Middlesex has an international student base and there's all sorts of opportunities for people to reach out to one another, help one another, and develop business ideas together.
